Aileen: My observations concur with yours. Probably one of two conclusions (1) The op was an entire sucess, therefore it would not be unreasonable to expect a few test drives o the new equipment. (2) The op and recovery is taking longer than expected, in that event test drives maybe would'nt be such a good idea. Mr Levee would you kindly either post an article or alternativly enlighten us with a diplomatic response.

Mr Levee the old addage, No-Pain - No-Gain, in your case appears to hold true, a bruised todger is a terrible thing, not that I have would know. "Has anyone else gone through a vasectomy?" No Way, Not a chance, Never, Absolutely not, By no means, thumbsdown, complete refusal and No.

Freddo, normally I'd be busily emptying out the rest of my sperm reserves, but I'm actually quite badly bruised. I think any vigorous activity might just kill the little man off.

Thanks for the comment, though. Not sure about the wisdom of the 12 ejaculations - I think I'll wait until the docs confirm it!

Had mine done five years ago. They gave me a valium/demerol cocktail and that was it. Very little pain ever. Was told that reversing it may be doubtful so I never considered. Remember you still got the live stuff in the tubes so get to work getting it out. I was told up to 12 ejaculations until I was shooting blanks.

Ouchie! Hope you're doing OK now. Obviously I've never had a vasectomy but I know some guys who have. Recently my mother was asked how many grandchildren she had. "Just the eight," she said.

I said, "And with five daughters over 45 and two sons with vasectomies I think you've had your lot!"
