Lisa doesn’t quite see the application of this technology – but as an avid Twitter user, I like the idea of a community site with almost real-time communication based around a central theme.
Because Skewster is on WordPress, we could easily set registered users to be contributors by default, letting them only comment on posts. Regular commenters could be invited to become posters – topic starters on the site. The whole thing is already making good use of Gravatar images and stuff like that, and with a little bit of tweaking, Skewster could be great for Liveblogging or event-based television posts.
